Platinum Five is created, designed and developed by Vahal.

ChatGPT and Codex were used extensively as development tools. Design decisions and final visual and gameplay QA remain with Vahal. The Development page explains this workflow.

Project foundation

Platinum Five is built on the pret/pokeplatinum decompilation project and the work of its contributors.

Data and documentation sources

PokeAPI provides data and documentation artwork references. Generation V images on this wiki use the pinned PokeAPI/sprites documentation source layer. Generation I-IV images retain the established rendering of game resources. These acknowledgements describe provenance; they do not assign a software license to Pokémon artwork.

pret/pokeheartgold has served as a source and asset reference for the game. This does not mean that every referenced resource is distributed by this website. The wiki omits the portraits of Clair, Grimsley and Giovanni under its documentation artwork policy.

Pokémon Showdown, Veekun, Bulbapedia and Pokémon Database have been consulted for research and cross-checking mechanics and data. This acknowledgement does not imply that their software or artwork is redistributed here, or that they endorse Platinum Five.

The wiki is generated with MkDocs and Material for MkDocs. Browser software and icon credits, with their applicable license texts, are listed in Third-Party Notices.

Pokémon and related trademarks and intellectual property belong to their respective owners. Platinum Five is an unofficial fan project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Nintendo, Game Freak or The Pokémon Company. The project does not distribute the original Pokémon Platinum ROM.
